Lawrenceville, GA – Intentional Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Windsor Oak Circle
Lawrenceville, GA (December 18, 2021) – Around 5:15 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, December 18, an arrest was made following a fatal pedestrian accident in Lawrenceville.
According to Gwinnett County Police, the accident happened on Windsor Oak Circle. Two brother-in-laws were having an argument in a backyard of a home in the area. One of the men got into his pickup truck and struck the other with his vehicle. Police confirmed that the accident was intentional in nature and happened after a Christmas gathering.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The 41-year-old man who was struck was rushed to the hospital with traumatic injuries. He was tragically pronounced dead while there.
Police confirmed that the driver of the truck, identified as a 34-year-old male relative, was arrested on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault.
The area was blocked for an extended period of time following the accident.
