Gainesville, GA – Two Injured When Vehicles Collide On Candler Road

Gainesville, GA (April 12, 2023) – On Wednesday, April 12, two motorists were hospitalized following an accident on Candler Road in Gainesville, as reported by authorities.

Responding to a call at approximately 7:41 p.m., Georgia State Patrol troopers arrived at the scene of a two-car collision on Candler Road/Ga. 60 near Oakbrook Drive. Preliminary investigations suggest that a Jaguar sedan and an Acura SUV crashed into each other while traveling in the northbound lane of Candler Road.

The injured drivers were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment. Authorities have not yet disclosed their identities, and the official crash report remains unavailable.

As a result of the accident, Candler Road was temporarily closed. However, one hour after the incident, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office announced that one lane had been reopened.
