Atlanta, GA – I-75 Reopened Following Deadly Crash
Atlanta, GA (March 19, 2023) At approximately 2:53 a.m., authorities were alerted to a collision on I-75 northbound near Northside Drive in Atlanta. The accident involved a Kia Soul and a Chrysler 300, with a possible entrapment reported.
Officials verified that the Kia Soul’s driver was fatally injured in the crash. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the Kia Soul was heading southbound on Buford Highway when it struck a concrete wall, rolled over, and fell onto the I-75 northbound expressway split.
According to authorities, the Kia Soul was subsequently struck by the northbound Chrysler 300 on I-75.
The Chrysler 300’s driver declined medical attention, as per the Atlanta police.
The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
No other injuries were reported, and the investigation is still ongoing.
